XRP Ledger support is here. You can now hold XRP, use it to get or top up your Tria card, and add funds to your futures trading account.
It all happens inside Tria. You don't need to manually move funds between networks or swap into stablecoins first.

You can receive, hold, and send from your Tria wallet, and your balances stay under your control.

Choose your trading account in Tria and follow the top-up steps. There's no manual bridge to work through first.
For both card and trading top-ups, you'll see:
- An estimated amount: what you're expected to receive.
- A guaranteed minimum: the least you'll receive.
Check both before confirming. The final amount can change, so the estimate isn't an exact quote.
Start with 2 XRP
Your first step is a deposit. Tria recommends starting with 2 XRP.
A new XRP Ledger account needs at least 1 XRP to activate. An initial payment below that amount will be rejected, so follow the deposit instructions in the app.
Once your account is active, the network keeps some XRP locked as a reserve. This is a required balance that stays in your account.

If you enable both RLUSD and USDC, your total locked reserve is 1.4 XRP.
It's your XRP, and it stays in your account. It isn't spent or paid to Tria. You simply can't use that portion while the network requires it as a reserve.
Leave a little XRP for the next step
XRP Ledger transactions have a small network fee, typically around 0.00001 XRP.
The fee is paid in XRP, including when you send RLUSD or USDC. Keep a little XRP available above your reserve so you're ready to make transactions.
A few seconds here, a few minutes there
A transaction on the XRP Ledger typically settles in 3 to 5 seconds.
A card or trading top-up that moves funds between networks typically takes 1 to 3 minutes.
That means your top-up may take longer than a regular XRP Ledger transfer. Give it a moment to arrive.

Check that you're sending through the native XRP Ledger.
XRP sent over BNB Chain, Ethereum, or the XRPL EVM sidechain isn't supported by this integration. Using the wrong network can result in lost funds.

How much XRP do I need to get started?

Why is some of my XRP locked?
The XRP Ledger requires an account reserve of 1 XRP, plus 0.2 XRP for each enabled token. With both RLUSD and USDC enabled, that adds up to 1.4 XRP. This is not a Tria fee. The XRP stays in your account as a reserve.
Do I need to swap or bridge before topping up?
You don't need to do those steps manually. Start your card or trading top-up inside Tria and review the estimated amount and guaranteed minimum before confirming.
Can I earn yield or borrow against my XRP?
Earn, yield, and borrowing against XRP are not part of this launch. This release supports wallet transfers, card booking, card top-ups, and futures trading top-ups.
